Calendar

Plan appointments, see tracked time, and stay on top of your agenda

Overview

The calendar brings planning and reality together: appointments and blocked time share the grid with your tracked work time. You start timers from appointments, keep an eye on your agenda from any page, and sync with Google Calendar.

Views

Four views, one schedule:

  • Day & Week - Hourly grid with a live now-line — the view scrolls to the current time automatically
  • Month - The whole month at a glance; small screens switch to a touch-friendly month view
  • Year - Jump anywhere: click a day for the day view, a month for the month view
  • Fine-tuning - Set the slot interval (5–60 minutes), row height, and sub-hour grid lines

Appointments

Appointments are your planned time:

  • Create by dragging a range on the grid or via the new button; move and resize with drag & drop
  • Details: title, description, location, all-day — plus a linked work project, which also gives the appointment its color
  • Need it on several days? "Create as series" books the appointment on every date you pick — as independent appointments you edit individually
  • Appointments know their state: upcoming, active, completed, missed, or cancelled

Blocked time

Blocked time keeps room free:

  • Set the event type to "Blocked" for focus time, breaks, or absences — shown in red with just a label and note
  • Nothing can be moved into a blocked range, and blocked time never hosts timers

Time entries in the calendar

Tracked time lives on the same grid:

  • When creating, choose planned (appointment) or tracked (time entry) — a past range preselects tracked, a future one planned
  • Time entries render as filled blocks, appointments as light ones; a running timer appears as a live block
  • Drag and resize time entries right on the grid, or click one to edit it in full

Timers & appointments

Planning and tracking work hand in hand:

  • Start a timer straight from an appointment — from 60 minutes before it begins, optionally from its exact start time
  • Linked time entries decide the outcome: with tracked time an appointment counts as completed, without as missed — or set the status yourself
  • Forgot to track? Create a time entry from the appointment with one click

Agenda

The agenda lives in the header — on every page (press o, then a):

  • Sections for what's relevant now, the rest of today, missed, upcoming, blocked time, and done
  • Act straight from a card: open the appointment, start a suggested timer, or create a new one

Google Calendar

Connect your Google account in the calendar settings:

  • Your primary Google calendar syncs about a year back and ahead — automatically when stale, or manually via the sync icon
  • Whether Google appointments are editable here depends on your Google permissions — otherwise they are read-only. Local appointments are always fully editable

Daily legend & filters

The week view doubles as a work report:

  • The daily legend shows tracked time and earnings per day — click a day for the per-project breakdown
  • The header sums the week's time and earnings and lists your most active projects
  • Filter the calendar by projects and tags via the funnel icon

Tips & Best Practices

  • Block focus time with blocked ranges so nothing gets scheduled over it
  • Give appointments a project — timers, colors, and completion tracking all follow from it
  • Plan with appointments, then compare them against tracked time in the same grid
  • Open the agenda from anywhere with o, then a
  • End the week with a look at the daily legend — it shows where your time and money went
